How we handle finances

Why we ask for money

Elevate Family Church operates as a charity, primarily funded through the generous voluntary donations of its members and the public. In alignment with 2 Corinthians 9:7, we encourage contributions to be made from the heart, without reluctance or a sense of obligation, as God loves a cheerful giver.

We believe that heartfelt giving not only supports the church’s mission but also enriches the spiritual lives of our congregation, fostering a community of generosity and faith.

How we receive money

Our primary methods for receiving donations include a contactless donation terminal available during Sunday services, as well as cash contributions at the same time.

Additionally, donations can be made directly to the church bank account through one-off payments, direct debits, or standing orders.

We also provide the convenience of donating via ChurchSuite, which can be accessed through the button below. We appreciate all forms of generosity and your support greatly benefits our community.

What we use money for

Most of the money will go into running costs for the church - building rent, equipment, teas and coffees for after the service, and so on.

We also set aside a portion to be invested in outreach and blessing both our local and wider communities. Examples of this could be events, giveaways, or donations.

Part of being good stewards with what God gives us is setting aside enough money that we have a healthy reserve. That means that if the church or any of its members go through a time of extreme need, we will be able to help.
